At JSINTECH, we strive to protect the confidentiality of personal data of our stakeholders (including customers, merchants, vendors, partners and other individuals who entrusted us with their personal data) ("Stakeholders").
Recognising the confidentiality of the personal data, we are committed to act with integrity in protecting the privacy of our Stakeholders in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA 2010"). In view thereof, this privacy policy is drafted in accordance with requirements of PDPA 2010 which describes how your personal data ("Personal Data") is collected, processed and disclosed by us ("Policy").
1. Definitions
In this Policy:
- "Merchant" refers to any business, entity, or individual who has registered on our platform to list, publish and offer Vouchers.
- "Customer" refers to any individual who has registered on our Platform to browse, purchase, claim, or redeem Vouchers offered by Merchants.
- "Voucher" refers to the digital vouchers, coupons, or deals listed on the Platform by Merchants, which include details such as voucher name, store name, voucher description, validity period and terms & conditions.
- "Personal Data" refers to any information in respect of commercial transactions which can be used to identify an individual or from which an individual is identifiable.
By interacting with us, submitting information to us, engaging with, accessing and/or using any of our service(s) or feature(s) through our Platform, you agree and consent to us for collecting, processing and disclosing your Personal Data in the manner set forth in this Policy.
2. Our Services
Our Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Enabling Merchants to list, publish and offer Voucher on our Platform;
- Displaying Voucher information including voucher image, voucher code, voucher name, store name, validity period and terms & conditions;
- Allowing customer to browse, claim and redeem Vouchers;
- Managing subscriptions and billing for Merchants using our Platform
- Facilitating the verification and redemption process of Vouchers between Customer and Merchants; and
- Providing customer support and account management functionalities.
3. Collection of Personal Data
We may collect your personal data from a variety of sources. The types of data collected depends on whether you are a Merchant or a Customer:
Information Collected from Merchants
- Company Information: Company name and company address
- Contact Information: Company contact number and email address
- Billing & Financial Information: Bank account details and credit/debit card details, and billing address for the processing of subscription fees and service charges.
Information Collected from Customers
- Personal Information: First name and last name
- Contact Information: Phone number and email address
- Transaction Information: Details of vouchers claimed or redeemed
General Collection (Applicable to All)
- Personal Data submitted directly via the VoucherLink platform;
- Personal Data gathered through your interaction with our Platform including your location information;
- Personal Data collected when you enter into any transaction with us such as when a merchant subscribes to a plan or a customer redeems a voucher.
You are responsible for ensuring that all Personal Data submitted to us are complete, accurate, true and up to date.
4. PURPOSES FOR COLLECTION
The Personal Data are collected, processed and/or disclosed for, amongst others, the following purposes:
Transactional & Operational Purposes
- Subscriptions & Billing: To process Merchant subscription payments, issue invoices, and manage billing records.
- Voucher Redemption: To facilitate, record, and verify the redemption of Vouchers by Customers at Merchant locations.
- Account Management: To administer and verify your registration as a Customer or Merchant on our Platform.
General Business Purposes
- Communicating with you, responding to and handling your queries, feedbacks and suggestions;
- Investigating, resolving and troubleshooting any service issues, redemption disputes, or fraudulent activity;
- Verifying your identity and assessing credit worthiness (where applicable);
- Providing updates on services, features and products which might be of interest to you;
- Conducting research, surveys and trend analysis on subjects, such as product development and statistical purposes; and
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and directions issued by relevant authorities.
5. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
We may disclose your Personal Data, in accordance with all applicable laws, to various parties involved for the provision of our Services in our Platform which may include:
- Merchants and Customers: We may disclose relevant Customers info (e.g., redemption status/voucher code) to Merchants to verify validity, and relevant Merchant info to Customer to facilitate the finding of the Merchant's location.
- Payment Processors: Third-party payment gateways to process subscriptions and payments
6. COOKIES AND PLATFORM ANALYTICS
We may use cookies and similar technologies on our Platform to collect information about how you interact with it. These help us understand usage patterns, improve performance and enhance user experience. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of VoucherLink.
7. SECURITY MEASURES
While we strive to maintain a high standard of security and are committed to safeguarding your Personal Data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, or loss, we cannot guarantee full compliance with data protection standards due to factors beyond our control. You are advised to safeguard your login credentials and avoid sharing sensitive information over unsecured channels.
8. RIGHT TO ACCESS AND CORRECT PERSONAL DATA
Should you have any queries, objections or complaints about the processing of your Personal Data or if you wish to obtain information, correct your Personal Data or withdraw consent, please contact us in writing at the contact details provided below.
Please note that adherence to your request is not automatic and we shall have the right to refuse your request for reasons permitted under the PDPA 2010.
9. ACCOUNT DELETION PROCEDURE
You may request delete your VoucherLink account and your own personal information at any time. You will immediately lose the right to use VoucherLink Apps. To delete your user account, please fill up this authorization form and revert to support@voucherlink.my to complete the deletion
10. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to amend this Policy from time to time without prior notice. Any changes to this Policy will be uploaded onto our Platform.
